About the Project Coordinator Role at North Star Staffing

North Star Staffing is seeking a highly detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support international functional testing programs for a global Family of Apps. This fully remote role (global, PST time zone required) focuses on coordinating in-market testing operations, driving essential cross-functional communication, and ensuring high-quality, locally relevant product launches.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in QA, project coordination, software development workflows, or internationalization (i18n). You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment that demands strong prioritization skills and effective stakeholder alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Testing Program Coordination: Plan and manage in-market functional testing from initial setup through product launch. Coordinate testing schedules, monitor execution milestones, and manage reporting to ensure deliverables meet launch deadlines across multiple locales.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Act as a primary liaison between Program Managers, Engineers, QA teams, Vendors, and Product Designers. Clearly communicate timelines, instructions, and testing results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment through regular updates and structured communication.
• Workflow & Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies within existing tools and workflows. Propose and pilot innovative process improvements, and actively support the implementation of enhanced operational frameworks.
• Bug Triage & Quality Assurance: Prioritize, track, and escalate internationalization (i18n) bugs. Partner closely with product teams to ensure that defects are thoroughly resolved before launch, guaranteeing testing outcomes accurately reflect real-world, in-market user conditions.
• Operational Execution: Demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions under tight deadlines. Manage multiple concurrent projects across diverse international markets and maintain detailed documentation and tracking systems meticulously.

Required Qualifications

• Experience coordinating software testing, QA, localization, or product launches.
• Strong understanding of internationalization (i18n) challenges inherent in software development.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively, triage issues efficiently, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Demonstrated capability to manage diverse cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
• Comfortable operating adeptly in ambiguous, deadline-driven environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in QA, Project Management, User Research, or Software Development.
• Prior experience launching products across multiple international locales.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems and standard development workflows.
• Exposure to hardware, AR/VR, advertising, or payments testing environments.
