North Star Staffing is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Coordinator III to support hardware development programs within a fast-paced consumer electronics environment. This role partners closely with Technical Program Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure hardware deliverables are executed on time, within budget, and aligned to product development milestones. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, operationally strong, and comfortable managing logistics, procurement, and budgeting across multiple concurrent programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Program & Hardware SupportPartner with Technical Program Managers to support hardware program executionEnsure timely delivery of hardware to cross-functional teamsTrack program milestones and support execution readiness
- Allocation & Distribution ManagementCollect hardware allocation requests from internal teamsCoordinate distribution logistics across teams and locationsMaintain accurate tracking systems for hardware allocation
- Budget & Procurement OversightSupport budget forecasting and tracking across multiple programsManage procurement workflows, including purchase order (PO) creation and trackingMonitor spending and ensure alignment with program budgets
- Logistics CoordinationCollaborate with logistics partners to expedite shipping and delivery timelinesCoordinate domestic and international vendor shipmentsResolve shipment delays and operational blockers proactively
- Cross-Functional CoordinationWork across engineering, supply chain, finance, and external vendorsManage communications across multiple time zonesMaintain structured documentation and reporting across concurrent programs
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Program Specialist, Project Coordinator, or similar role
- Experience supporting hardware development programs in consumer electronics
- Experience working with domestic and international vendors
- Strong proficiency in managing complex spreadsheets and tracking systems
- Experience with procurement systems and accounting tools
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills
