Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Coordinator to support hardware development programs within a fast-paced consumer electronics environment. This role partners closely with Technical Program Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure hardware deliverables are executed on time, within budget, and aligned to product development milestones. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, operationally strong, and comfortable managing logistics, procurement, and budgeting across multiple concurrent programs.
Key Responsibilities
As an Engineering Project Coordinator, you will:
- Program & Hardware Support: Partner with Technical Program Managers to support hardware program execution, ensuring timely delivery of hardware to cross-functional teams, tracking program milestones, and supporting execution readiness.
- Allocation & Distribution Management: Collect hardware allocation requests from internal teams, coordinate distribution logistics across teams and locations, and maintain accurate tracking systems for hardware allocation.
- Budget & Procurement Oversight: Support budget forecasting and tracking across multiple programs, manage procurement workflows (including purchase order creation and tracking), and monitor spending to ensure alignment with program budgets.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics partners to expedite shipping and delivery timelines, coordinate domestic and international vendor shipments, and proactively resolve shipment delays and operational blockers.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work across engineering, supply chain, finance, and external vendors, manage communications across multiple time zones, and maintain structured documentation and reporting across concurrent programs.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Program Specialist, Project Coordinator, or similar role.
- Experience supporting hardware development programs in consumer electronics.
- Experience working with domestic and international vendors.
- Strong proficiency in managing complex spreadsheets and tracking systems.
- Experience with procurement systems and accounting tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
