Econometric Data Analyst (Remote)
North Star Staffing is seeking an Econometric Data Analyst with deep expertise in Stata SE to support advanced research and policy-focused analytical projects. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in panel data analysis, causal inference, and reproducible research workflows.
Role Overview
You will design and implement econometric models using Stata SE, manage complex datasets, and produce well-documented, reproducible research outputs. The role requires strong technical rigor, analytical precision, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to academic or policy audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement econometric models using Stata SE
- Conduct panel data analysis and apply causal inference techniques
- Develop and optimize do-files for automation and reproducibility
- Clean, transform, and validate large-scale datasets
- Produce clear technical reports, memos, and presentation materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine analytical approaches
- Ensure transparency, reproducibility, and ethical data handling standards
Required Qualifications
- Expert proficiency in Stata SE
- Strong experience with econometric modeling and automation via do-files
