About the Role
In this role, you will manage the full audio production lifecycle, from pre-production planning through post-production delivery. You will ensure clarity, consistency, and linguistic accuracy in Chinese-language content. This position requires strong independent work capability, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of Chinese pronunciation and dialect nuances.
Key Responsibilities
Audio Production & Engineering
- Edit, mix, and master Chinese-language audio to industry-leading standards.
- Ensure optimal clarity, tonal balance, and production quality.
- Maintain consistency across multi-episode or multi-project content.
Collaboration & Workflow Management
- Work closely with clients, translators, and voice artists.
- Manage end-to-end audio workflows from planning to final delivery.
- Coordinate revisions and feedback cycles efficiently.
Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting
- Conduct detailed quality checks for language accuracy and sound integrity.
- Identify and resolve technical issues under tight deadlines.
- Maintain organized digital audio files and project documentation.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with evolving audio software, hardware, and production standards.
- Recommend workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
Ideal Qualifications
- Native or near-native fluency in Chinese, with strong understanding of pronunciation and dialect nuances.
- Proven professional audio engineering experience (Chinese-language content preferred).
- Strong attention to linguistic and audio detail.
- Experience working independently in remote, deadline-driven environments.
