About the Role

North South Foundation is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Recruitment Specialist to manage end-to-end volunteer hiring activities. This pivotal role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their talent requirements, managing job postings, screening qualified candidates, coordinating interviews, and maintaining comprehensive recruitment reports. It is ideal for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about connecting the right volunteers with impactful opportunities within a non-profit organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to collect and refine job descriptions.
  • Post open volunteer roles on the organization’s website and across social media channels.
  • Screen and review resumes of potential candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews with the recruitment lead.
  • Collect interview feedback and maintain recruitment reports and analytics.
  • Support ongoing recruitment tracking using Google Workspace and Excel.

Qualifications

  • Adult volunteer.
  • HR experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for contributing to a non-profit organization.
