A Position That Excites You

As an IT Solution Designer, you will shape the end-to-end conceptualization of modern AI, automation, and integration solutions. You will serve as the central interface between business units, IT, and NORD/LB's Digital Enablers. This role combines use-case management, technical solution design, prototyping, and governance sovereignty, thereby influencing the target vision for NORD/LB's AI-driven operational and transformation capabilities.

• You will capture AI, automation, and integration requirements from business units, refine them methodically, and prioritize them, including business value assessment.
• You will develop technical target visions and architectural sketches, derive make-or-buy recommendations, and integrate risk/compliance considerations early in the process.
• You will collaborate closely with business units and NORD/LB's technology management, orchestrating the transition from requirements to implementation.
• You will hands-on implement PoCs and prototypes, such as GenAI use-cases and OCR/Document Intelligence processes, and transfer mature solutions to delivery and operations.
• You will utilize bank-wide data standards, lineage, and MDM guidelines, integrating data sources cleanly and compliantly into your designs.
• You will manage the backlog, roadmap, KPIs, and stakeholder transparency, coordinating external partners as needed.

A Profile That Convinces Us

• You bring profound experience in AI/ML and GenAI, including LLM patterns (RAG, Prompt/System Design, Guardrails), model evaluation, and data preparation.
• You have knowledge in automation and integration (APIs, Power Platform/RPA) as well as connecting DMS/archiving systems.
• You are familiar with regulatory requirements such as EU AI Act, DSGVO, MaRisk/BAIT, and BCBS 239, and can consider them early in the design process.
• You are proficient with tools like GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes, MS Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, Jira/Confluence, and BPMN/ArchiMate.
• You confidently moderate workshops, conduct structured requirements gathering, and think in terms of processes, data flows, and architectures.
• You work agilely, prioritize effectively, cooperatively manage providers, and navigate AI governance structures with ease.
• You impress with empathetic, solution-oriented, and impact-driven communication, capable of clearly translating complex technical topics.
