About the Role: Senior Healthcare Project Manager

As a Senior Healthcare Project Manager at Nordic Global, you will play a crucial role in effectively guiding Epic-related projects and teams to successful completion. This position is for an experienced health IT professional who excels at communication with executives, peers, and team members, focusing on collaborative success. You will be instrumental in making a tangible difference for clients by applying your expertise to complex healthcare IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Epic-related consulting and administrative computer services for Nordic clients.
• Apply technical expertise to individual client system builds, identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving problems.
• Mentor client project teams on project and system build strategy.
• Track and document risks and issues thoroughly.
• Analyze and document workflows to ensure efficiency and clarity.
• Work closely with project leadership, including documentation and facilitation of key meetings.
• Directly engage with Epic end users to monitor workflows, provide documentation, and suggest optimization.
• Lead meetings concerning project status and ongoing work-product coordination.
• Undertake additional specific duties as required by individual client statements of work.
• Potentially represent Nordic Global at corporate functions to meet prospective consultants and strengthen client relationships.

Skills and Experience Required

• At least 5 years of Epic project manager experience is essential.
• Proven experience managing multiple types and sizes of Epic projects.
• Possess at least one Epic certification; multiple certifications are highly preferred.
• Minimum two years of Epic work experience after certification.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are critical.
• Highly organized, with the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining intense focus.
• A self-starter capable of maintaining schedules, meeting deadlines, and monitoring personal work product.
• Highly adaptable, able to acclimate quickly to new project assignments, work environments, diverse teams, and client regulations.
• Aptitude for mentoring and guiding others.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, treating others with respect, keeping commitments, inspiring trust, working ethically, and upholding organizational values.
• Possesses a very high degree of professionalism.
• PMP certification is strongly preferred for project management/leadership roles.
