Senior Consultant, Digital Health

As a Senior Consultant, Digital Health at Nordic Global, you will be responsible for performing general analytics and statistical modeling on existing data sets across various business areas, including Market Economics, Supply Chain, Marketing/Advertising, Financial Services, and Scientific Research. Your activities will encompass defining data requirements, data collection, processing, cleaning, analysis, modeling, and visualization. You will examine and identify data patterns and trends to help answer critical business questions and improve decision-making processes. This role provides crucial inputs for complex Data Science and Big Data Mining projects and identifies areas to increase the efficiency and automation of data analysis processes.
This is a Senior Professional (P3) level role, requiring advanced knowledge typically gained through extensive education and work experience. You will manage projects and processes independently with limited supervision, and you will also coach and review the work of lower-level professionals. The problems you'll face will often be difficult and complex.
While this specialization serves as a generalist role in analytics, if the client organization has analytics roles with specific industry/service line focus, you may be matched to relevant sub-functions such as Actuary Analytics, Business Analytics, Customer Analytics, HR Analytics, or Healthcare Analytics. The typical title for this specialization is Data Analyst.
As a Data Analytics Senior Analyst, you will provide consulting services to clients on Epic-related projects. A Nordic consultant is more than just an Epic expert; our analysts take ownership for their work and contribute to the greater success of the organization. We are looking for someone who listens intently to clients, understanding that each project and organization is unique. You will tackle tough projects to help these organizations succeed. Experience implementing Epic is required, and prior experience on a Connect or optimization project is a significant plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Epic-related consulting and administrative computer services for Nordic clients.
- Apply technical expertise to individual client system build to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems.
- Mentor client project teams as necessary in project and system build strategy.
- Track and document risks and issues.
- Analyze and document workflows.
- Work closely with project leadership, including documentation and facilitation.
- Work directly with Epic end users, monitoring workflows, providing documentation, and suggesting optimization improvements.
- Lead meetings regarding project status and ongoing work-product coordination.
- Perform additional specific duties related to the project as required and dictated by individual clients, documented on a per-contract basis in the client’s statement of work.
- May be invited to attend corporate functions as a representative of the company to meet prospective consultants and solidify relationships with clients and Nordic co-workers.
Skills and Experience
- All consultants must possess at least one Epic certification; multiple certifications are preferred. Ideally, certifications in Cogito, Clarity, or Caboodle.
- Strong experience with Cogito.
- Strong to expert level of SQL proficiency.
- Some project management experience is preferred.
- Experience with one or more data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI preferred).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized, able to multi-task while maintaining intense focus on individual tasks.
- Self-starter with the ability to maintain schedule, meet deadlines, and monitor one’s own work product.
- Highly adaptable; able to acclimate quickly to new project assignments, including new work environments, different teams and co-workers, client workplace rules and regulations, and varying travel and living arrangements due to project location changes.
- Aptitude for mentoring and guiding others.
- Possess a strong work ethic, treating others with respect, keeping commitments, inspiring trust, working ethically and with integrity, and upholding organizational values.
