We are looking for a strategic and collaborative person to join our AI Innovation team at Nordea. You will lead high-impact AI initiatives, particularly in the emerging field of Agentic AI, serving as a project lead on strategic AI use cases and work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to take AI applications from concept to production.

This position is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working location based in Helsinki, Finland, Gdansk / Gdynia / Warsaw, Poland, Copenhagen, Denmark, or Stockholm, Sweden.

What You’ll Be Doing
Main responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing AI projects end-to-end - Guide complex, multi-stakeholder AI initiatives from concept to production while ensuring measurable business impact
- Developing AI use cases - Identify, scope, and prioritize AI opportunities across business areas
- Conducting strategic analysis - Lead business case development from Discovery through MVP, including value hypothesis validation, ROI analysis, and impact measurement
- Engaging with executives - Present recommendations and progress to senior leadership to facilitate strategic decision-making
- Fostering cross-functional collaboration - Bridge technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure successful AI solution delivery
- Providing innovation leadership - Stay current with AI trends and establish best practices for AI project delivery
Who You Are
This role is perfect for you if you enjoy taking initiative, delivering solutions, and embracing a growth mindset while staying curious and passionate about AI. You excel at problem-solving and moving complex projects from proof-of-concept to production, with a strong ability to work effectively with teams and facilitate progress in collaborative environments.
We're looking for someone with most of the following experience and skills:
- MBA, MSc, or PhD in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 5-8+ years of experience at top-tier management consultancies, technology companies, financial institutions, or leading multinational companies, with a strong proven track record in strategy and transformation projects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver presentations to multiple stakeholders, including C-level executives
- Proven ability to work effectively with senior audiences and translate complex ideas into clear explanations for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Extensive knowledge of AI/ML, GenAI, and Agentic AI technologies with hands-on project delivery experience in developing and implementing AI solutions from concept to production
- Proven experience in leading large, multi-stakeholder AI initiatives in complex environments, including identifying opportunities and designing implementation strategies
It would be ideal if you also:
- Have a deep interest in or experience with Generative AI and Machine Learning technologies
- Bring experience from agile environments, tech-driven transformation projects, or product management frameworks
- Have professional experience from working in regulated industries, i.e. Banking, Government, etc., preferably working with digital transformation initiatives
- Have knowledge and familiarity with EU AI Act and other relevant AI regulations
