About This Opportunity

This role is for an experienced Lead Data Analyst with hands-on expertise in data and requirement analysis. You will be involved in consolidating, harmonizing, sourcing, storing and distributing Payments Data for Nordea's evolving payment architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to solution design and application architecture.
  • Design near real-time data pipelines and traditional analytics pipelines.
  • Interact with product owners to translate requirements into specifications.
  • Perform data mapping, modelling and quantitative analysis.
  • Collaborate with developers, engineers, and information architects.
  • Elicit both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Document requirements including use cases and quality improvements.
  • Access complex, distributed datasets for statistical analysis.

Who You Are

You are a team player with ownership, a consultant mindset, and excellent communication skills. You thrive in a diverse and international environment.

Your Experience and Background

  • 5-7 years designing data intensive solutions and architectures.
  • Expert in ensuring business requirements are transformed into functional specifications.
  • Proficient in SQL (Oracle, MSSQL, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing, microservices, and clean code.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, REST, Maven, and JUnit.
  • Degree in computer science, mathematical modelling, or similar field.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Beneficial: Knowledge of banking, payment domains, and cloud platforms.

Location

This role is based in Copenhagen/Taastrup (DK) or Helsinki (FI).
