Senior Software Engineer at Nordcode Technology

Nordcode Technology is actively seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our collaborative and professional team. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by building high-performance web and eCommerce solutions, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and scalability. You will contribute to defining coding standards, leading code reviews, shaping technical offerings, and mentoring team members.

What you will do:

  • Build high-performance web and eCommerce solutions using modern frameworks, clean architecture, and scalable design patterns.
  • Define coding standards and project-specific best practices to ensure reliable, maintainable, and scalable software.
  • Own and lead code reviews, resolving technical issues quickly and providing mentorship to teammates.
  • Shape technical offerings and solution proposals for clients, aligning with business needs and engineering strengths.
  • Evaluate, introduce, and implement new technologies to support project objectives and advance the organization’s technical direction.
  • Lead the team by fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment, offering constructive feedback, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Lead by example in delivering high-quality work through effective development workflows and smart automation practices.

What we expect:

  • At least 5 years of proven hands-on experience building and maintaining complex eCommerce solutions using PHP and Symfony framework (v8).
  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks and libraries such as Nuxt.js, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3 (including frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap), and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience with technologies such as Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, or similar systems.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proactive in identifying potential project risks and effectively communicating impacts and solutions.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding team members, fostering innovation and teamwork.
