Responsibilities

  • Own and architect backend infrastructure for real-time audio/video calling using WebRTC, SIP, and Twilio.
  • Ensure call quality and low latency meet global SLA targets.
  • Build services for advanced features such as call transfers, monitoring, and recordings.
  • Develop observability and debugging tools for call flows.
  • Partner with Product and Support teams for new A/V features and fast issue resolution.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of backend/infrastructure engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with real-time A/V or telephony systems (WebRTC, SIP, Twilio).
  • Strong foundation in distributed systems and low-latency infrastructure.
  • Experience in debugging and optimizing QoS metrics (latency, jitter, packet loss).
