The Opportunity: Group Product Manager

You will be the product leader responsible for one of Nomad's core areas, acting as a strategic enabler for the entire business. Your mission is to lead and develop a team of Product Managers distributed across 4 squads (Account, Auth, AML, and Fraud), ensuring synergy among them. Your main challenge will be to orchestrate the construction of a security and identity platform that supports Nomad's hyper-growth. You must balance the robustness required for regulatory compliance (KYC/AML) and financial loss prevention (Fraud) with the vital need to reduce friction in the customer journey, aiming for a fluid and automated account opening and authentication experience.

  • Team Management and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the careers of 4 Product Managers (Account, Auth, AML, and Fraud), ensuring a high-performance, autonomous, and collaborative environment.
  • Portfolio Strategy: Unify the product vision across the four fronts, ensuring that security and registration initiatives align with the company's macro objectives for 2026.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact with Compliance, Legal, Operations, Risk, and Engineering leadership, translating complex and regulatory needs into a clear and prioritized product roadmap.
  • Data-Oriented Vision: Drive a culture where decisions are made based on data. Define and monitor critical KPIs to measure the area's success.
  • Operational Excellence: Work to reduce reliance on manual analyses, promoting investments in intelligent decision engines and automation.
  • Product Discipline Evolution: Ensure the team utilizes best practices in discovery and delivery, raising the quality bar for deliverables.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in People Management: Proven track record leading and developing other Product Managers (PMs).
  • Solid Product Experience: Previous experience as a Group Product Manager or Senior PM in technology companies with complex products, preferably in Fintechs, Banks, or Payment Methods.
  • Domain Knowledge: Functional understanding of Onboarding (KYC) flows, Authentication, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), or Fraud Prevention.
  • Strategic and Analytical Vision: Ability to connect technical risk metrics with business indicators (conversion, CAC, LTV).
  • Influence Skills: Excellent communication to navigate between technical and business areas, aligning conflicting interests (e.g., Risk vs. Conversion).
  • Advanced English: Necessary for interaction with global partners and reading international regulations/benchmarks.
  • Experience in implementing or managing rule/risk engines and data providers (bureaus, biometrics).
  • Experience in fast-growing environments (scale-ups).
  • Technical knowledge (background in engineering or data science) is a plus for dialoguing with technical teams about architecture and ML models.

What else is in the Nomad package?

  • Flexible Benefit: Monthly credit of R$1700 on a Flash card for meals, food, courses, mobility, gyms, and more.
  • Extended Parental Leave: 6 months for parents to explore the world with exclusively biological or adoptive children.
  • Childcare Assistance: R$475 monthly for exclusively biological or adoptive children up to 5 years old.

  • Birthday Day Off: Enjoy a paid day off in your birthday month.
  • Health and Dental Plan: Bradesco operator, no cost to you. If you add dependents, Nomad covers 50% of the cost.
