DevOps - Summer Trainee
Nokia's Summer Trainee program is a short-term paid internship designed to launch your career in the IT and Telecom industry. This 3-month internship, running from July to September 2026, offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn from leading experts. We are keen to offer talented trainees a chance to continue their journey with us.
What You'll Do
In the SCM department, your focus will be on developing and implementing automated processes and solutions for CI/CD and DevOps needs within the Mobile Networks (MN) Business Group. You will provide Continuous Integration frameworks for various units, including Central CI for the final MN software product. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the continuity of software integration and designing/implementing MN-wide solutions.
Key Responsibilities And Learning Opportunities:
- Monitor and configure CI/CD processes.
- Develop internal tools to support CI/CD workflows.
- Manage the version control system (GIT/Gerrit).
- Improve and adapt the build framework.
- Investigate problems and perform root cause analysis.
Key Skills And Experience Required:
- Current student status.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
- Willingness to work full-time during the internship period.
- Solid knowledge of Linux and comfort working within this system.
- Proficiency in Bash scripting.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes, particularly Jenkins.
Beneficial Skills:
- Knowledge of Version Control Systems (GIT).
- Understanding of policy-as-code principles.
- Familiarity with software development processes and tools.
- Strong communication, cooperation, and problem-solving abilities.
