About the Role: Automation - AI/ML Intern
Nokia is seeking three highly motivated Automation - AI/ML Interns for a 10-week program from June to August 2026. This position offers flexible work arrangements, including virtual, on-site, or hybrid options, for students currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field at an accredited U.S. school. Please note, this role does not offer sponsorship or relocation.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Assist in developing automation tools and software prototypes to enhance service delivery.
- Apply machine learning techniques to solve defined business challenges.
- Collaborate with experts to design innovative solutions for network planning and optimization.
- Explore new technologies using online learning platforms and internal resources.
- Document project outcomes and key technical learnings.
Key Skills And Experience
- Familiarity with Python programming and basic software development practices.
- Knowledge of React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Interest in machine learning, cloud technologies, and working with databases.
- Strong communication skills, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to LTE/5G telecommunications technology.
