Overview
As a Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist at Noble Health Services, you will play a direct role in the company's Clinical Management Programs and ensure compliance with accreditation requirements. This position operates within a call center environment, focusing on facilitating clinical management across various disease states.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and operational support for Noble Health Services' Clinical and Patient Management Programs.
- Oversee clinical decision-making and maintain accountability to the organization for these decisions.
- Conduct patient drug utilization reviews and thorough analysis.
- Handle adverse event reporting meticulously.
- Assist in the implementation of enhanced services programs to improve patient care.
- Develop, present, or schedule educational programs for staff to foster continuous learning.
- Offer clinical research services to support both providers and patients.
- Suggest appropriate alternative therapies when clinically warranted.
- Stay current with changes and trends within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Help ensure the clinical management program adheres to the most current accreditation standards.
- Engage in periodic consultation with practitioners in the field.
- Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall operations.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited College of Pharmacy is preferred.
- Must hold a current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in North Carolina and other states as required.
Experience Preferred:
- 1-2 years of experience in a specialty or managed care setting.
- 1-2 years of practice in a traditional retail setting performing Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
Job Skills Required:
- Strong communication skills, essential for effective interaction both on the phone and in group settings.
- Proficient clinical research skills, including the ability to utilize all available resources to answer complex questions.
- Demonstrated qualifications to perform clinical oversight for provided services.
- Post-graduate experience in patient care.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong public speaking skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Compensation
This per diem role offers compensation between $65.00 and $65.86 per hour. The final offer will be determined based on relevant skills, years of experience, and education, aligning with KPH Healthcare Services, Inc.'s adherence to all local, state, and federal minimum wage requirements.
