Who You Will Work With

As a Sourcing Analyst, you will be an integral part of the global Sport Category Sourcing team, reporting directly to the Global Sports Apparel (GSA) Sourcing Director. Your daily collaborations will involve key stakeholders from Sport Focus Product Creation, Finance, Supply Planning, Materials, and Manufacturing teams.

Who Nike Is Looking For

Nike is seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Sourcing Analyst to manage critical sourcing and cost planning activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach in uniting multiple stakeholders and will thrive within a dynamic cross-functional environment. This role is perfectly suited for a team player with robust product creation and manufacturing experience, coupled with strong communication skills.

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Textiles, Supply Chain, or a related field, or an additional 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, with supply chain, product, or manufacturing experience being a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and an enterprise mindset.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and remain effective in ambiguous environments, coupled with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to manipulate and shape data to answer complex questions, identify trends, and provide effective business solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with different organizational levels, as well as actively listening and responding to diverse stakeholder input.

What You’ll Work On

You will assume responsibility for sourcing specialty sports products, including areas such as Cricket, Basketball Special Projects, and Olympics sideline product. Working closely with the triad, you will develop and execute appropriate sourcing strategies. A core aspect of this role is driving profitability by defining style-level targets, collaborating with the Finance team to align with Sport Category profitability objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and executing diverse Sport Focus sourcing strategies.
  • Managing the comprehensive cost planning process to ensure profitability, assisting product teams in evaluating trade-offs between product cost/margin and other essential criteria.
  • Developing a deep understanding of the global sourcing process, from strategic sourcing initiatives to seasonal execution.
