Role Overview
As a Software Engineer III - Infra Engineering, you will update legacy code into modern programming languages, develop infrastructure as code, and support continuous integration & continuous deployment. You will work with serverless architectures, cloud technologies, and build automation tools.
- Modernize legacy code using PowerShell, VBScript, C#, or Python.
- Implement CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Collaborate within a globally distributed team.
- Integrate core applications like Active Directory into automation.
- Engage in Agile product planning and backlog refinement.
Responsibilities
You will own architecture pieces from design to deployment. Duties include writing code for compliance systems, improving cloud infrastructure operations, and ensuring integration with policy-as-code. You'll work with teammates in Atlanta, Poland and Beaverton (Nike WHQ), collaborating with architects, security experts, and cloud engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, VBScript, and a secondary language such as C# or Python.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, CircleCI).
- Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and serverless architectures.
- Familiarity with Agile, governance, and risk compliance principles.
Team Environment
You will report to the Director of Core Infrastructure Services and engage with a global team. The position requires flexibility and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
