Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Statistician / Statistical Consultant for our dynamic Project Execution Team (PET) – Integrated Media Solutions at NielsenIQ. In this role, you will perform complex statistical analyses, integrate various data sources, and enhance existing products to support improved decision-making in a media context.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex statistical analyses for customer reporting and deep-dive questions.
• Conduct and improve data fusion and integration from multiple sources.
• Automate and enhance product processes, especially within Big Data environments.
• Provide analytical support in client presentations, both virtually and in-person.
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Product Teams to achieve customer objectives.

Qualifications

• Academic or practical background in statistics.
• Advanced skills in R or Python and knowledge of machine learning, Bayesian statistics, and multiple imputation.
• Basic experience with SQL and familiarity with Cloud and Big Data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience with workflow automation and version control (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Fluent English and ability to communicate complex topics to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Media industry experience and a deep understanding of media KPIs.
• Familiarity with Git.
