Role Overview

As a Business Analyst at Nichols Land & Investment Company, you will help teams define problems, analyze data and processes, and translate insights into practical recommendations. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who enjoy solving ambiguous problems, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering clear, well-structured outputs.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business goals and pain points.
• Gather, document, and validate business, functional, and reporting requirements.
• Analyze workflows and processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Build analyses using spreadsheets, dashboards, and other reporting tools.
• Translate findings into recommendations, user stories, and process changes.
• Support planning by clarifying scope, assumptions, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Create and maintain process documentation and decision logs.
• Communicate progress and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What We’re Looking For

• 0–2 years experience in business analysis, operations, consulting or related fields.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to structure complex topics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, presentations, and documentation tools.
• Comfort with data analysis, metric definitions, and ensuring data quality.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
