Overview
The Site Operations Assistant Manager supports the Account Manager in overseeing day-to-day contract security operations at the assigned site. Acting as a second in command, this role combines administrative tasks with field operations and requires direct supervision of security personnel to ensure high standards and compliance with client contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Account Manager in managing security operations.
- Act as a shift leader and supervise on-duty staff.
- Conduct shift briefings and ensure proper staffing.
- Perform regular patrols and participate in active security coverage.
- Monitor performance and maintain adherence to company standards.
- Serve as acting Account Manager during absences.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff.
- Support training, onboarding, and administrative duties.
- Coordinate officer day-off requests and manage scheduling.
- Collaborate with management on operational improvements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; additional training preferred.
- Minimum 2 years security operations experience; 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Valid security officer license and clean background check.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work outdoors, flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficient with basic computer systems and reporting tools.
- Retail security experience in an outdoor mall setting is an advantage.
