About the Role

Nexus Consulting's client is seeking experienced legal professionals for two new AI research dataset projects focused on the Australian market. This Tasmanian Legal Expert role involves the collection, verification, and organization of publicly available legal and financial documents. The compiled data will support internal testing and external demonstrations of advanced AI systems. This is a fully remote and asynchronous contract position with competitive hourly compensation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and organize publicly available legal and financial documents according to project guidelines.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and clarity of all compiled materials.
  • Follow structured documentation processes to meet defined quality standards.
  • Verify sources and ensure all data originates from public, verifiable platforms.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with project managers and consistently meet all deadlines.
  • Maintain high-quality work in a remote, independent setting.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Prior experience in litigation or corporate/transactional legal work specifically within Tasmania.
  • Familiarity with various Australian legal and regulatory document sources.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meticulously follow structured documentation requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities for meeting project deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment.
  • Reliable access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not supported).
