Software Engineer at Nexus Consulting
We are seeking experienced Software Engineering professionals to support high-impact AI research projects. In this role, you will help improve AI systems by working on code validation, prompt refinement, algorithm evaluation, and model benchmarking.
This is an opportunity to apply your software engineering expertise to help enhance the capabilities of next-generation AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and refine AI-generated prompts, responses, and code
- Validate algorithms and software concepts for technical accuracy
- Provide structured feedback on solution quality and clarity
- Tag and organize content by topic, difficulty, or programming language
- Support benchmarking efforts to evaluate model performance
Ideal Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Technical Research, or Educational Content Development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C++
- Experience with debugging, testing, and validating code
- Strong attention to detail and technical writing skills
Preferred:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with AI tools, LLMs, or model evaluation
Project Details & Contract Terms
This is an independent contractor role with an immediate start date, expected to last 1-2 months. The commitment is part-time (15–25 hours per week) with flexible scheduling, and the possibility of up to 40 hours per week. Weekly payments will be made based on completed work within a fully remote work environment.
