Job Summary
Nexus Consulting is seeking a talented Software Engineer, LLM Developer to join our team as an independent contractor. This remote, hourly contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to the future of AI-driven systems by reviewing, refining, and validating AI-generated content and software concepts. You will work flexibly, providing essential feedback and technical support for advanced model capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and refine AI-generated prompts, responses, and code.
- Validate algorithms and software concepts for technical accuracy.
- Provide structured feedback on solution quality and clarity.
- Tag and organize content by topic, difficulty, or language.
- Support benchmarking efforts to assess model capabilities.
Ideal Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering, technical research, or educational content development.
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor’s minimum; advanced degree preferred).
- Strong proficiency in languages like Python, JavaScript, Java, or C++, among other popular languages.
- Experience with debugging, testing, and validating code.
- Comfortable with technical writing and attention to detail.
Project Timeline & Commitment
This project has an immediate start date, with an initial duration of 1-2 months. The commitment is part-time, typically 15-25 hours per week, with flexibility to scale up to 40 hours per week depending on project needs and performance.

Contract and Payment Terms
You will be engaged as an independent contractor for this fully remote role, allowing you to complete work on your own schedule. Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on needs and performance. Your work will not involve access to confidential information. Payments are processed weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered. Please note that Nexus Consulting is currently unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates.
