Software Engineer - LLM Developer
This hourly contract role at Nexus Consulting focuses on leveraging software engineering expertise to build the future of AI-driven systems, specifically in the realm of Large Language Models (LLMs). This is a fully remote position with flexible hours, offering an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI development.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and refine AI-generated prompts, responses, and code.
- Validate algorithms and software concepts for technical accuracy.
- Provide structured feedback on solution quality and clarity.
- Tag and organize content by topic, difficulty, or language.
- Support benchmarking efforts to assess model capabilities.
Ideal Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering, technical research, or educational content development.
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor’s minimum; advanced degree preferred).
- Strong proficiency in languages like Python, JavaScript, Java, or C++, among other popular languages.
- Experience with debugging, testing, and validating code.
- Comfortable with technical writing and attention to detail.
Project Timeline & Engagement
This project has an immediate start date and is expected to last 1–2 months. The commitment is part-time, typically 15–25 hours per week, with flexibility to increase up to 40 hours per week based on project needs. As an independent contractor, you will work on your own schedule, and projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on performance and requirements. Your work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.

Contract and Payment Terms
You will be engaged as an independent contractor. Payments are processed weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered. Please note that Nexus Consulting is currently unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates for this position.
