About the Senior Technical Program Manager Role at Nexus Consulting
Nexus Consulting, a leading technology organization, is actively seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to spearhead intricate, cross-functional technology initiatives. This pivotal role involves driving planning, coordination, and execution across diverse engineering, product management, and operational teams to deliver high-impact software and platform programs. This is an onsite role based in Menlo Park, California.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership & Execution
- Lead and govern complex technical programs spanning multiple teams and business units.
- Drive end-to-end program lifecycle management from initiation through delivery.
- Define scope, milestones, timelines, and measurable success criteria.
- Ensure programs are delivered on schedule and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Planning & Resource Management
- Develop comprehensive project plans and roadmaps.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources and dependencies.
- Identify risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Balance competing priorities across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Provide clear, structured updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Communicate program status, risks, and dependencies effectively.
- Facilitate alignment across engineering, product, and operations teams.
- Support executive decision-making with data-driven insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with engineering, product, design, and business teams.
- Drive accountability and ownership across distributed stakeholders.
- Promote operational excellence and continuous process optimization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, OR equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated experience in technical program management or project management.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and various methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience working across cross-functional teams and adeptly managing stakeholder relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related technical or business discipline.
- Extensive experience within large-scale technology environments.
- Familiarity working across diverse product portfolios.
- Experience operating effectively in high-growth or rapidly evolving organizations.
