Role Overview
Nexus Consulting is seeking experienced Sales Representatives with backgrounds in wholesale and manufacturing (excluding technical and scientific products) to support a leading AI research lab. This remote role focuses on applying real-world sales expertise to help evaluate, design, and refine tasks that reflect common sales scenarios, contributing to the development and assessment of advanced AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Create structured tasks and professional deliverables based on common wholesale and manufacturing sales scenarios.
- Analyze sales processes, customer interactions, and decision-making workflows to inform AI model evaluation.
- Review and refine AI-generated sales-related content for clarity, realism, and practical relevance.
- Provide domain-specific insights to help identify gaps or limitations in current AI system outputs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in wholesale or manufacturing sales.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, client management, negotiation, and commercial operations.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
Engagement Details
- Fully remote, independent contractor role.
- Expected workload: approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility to scale up to 30+ hours.
- Project start: immediate.
- Initial project duration: approximately 3–4 weeks, with potential extension based on project needs and performance.
Compensation & Contract Terms
Hourly compensation is market-indexed and aligned with role scope, experience, and applicable local labor standards. Payments are issued weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered. Engagement is on an independent contractor basis, subject to applicable local laws and regulations.
Eligibility
Applicants must be legally authorized to work as independent contractors in their country of residence within the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Europe, Singapore, Dubai, or Australia.
