Project Manager at Nexus Consulting (Remote)
Nexus Consulting is seeking experienced Project Management Specialists to support a leading AI research lab advancing next-generation machine learning systems. This remote, hourly contract role focuses on applying project management expertise to analyze, structure, and solve real-world challenges that inform AI research and operational workflows. Key Responsibilities
- Create structured tasks and professional deliverables based on common project management scenarios.
- Analyze project planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder coordination challenges.
- Review and refine AI-generated project management content for clarity, accuracy, and practical relevance.
- Provide domain-specific insights to help identify gaps or limitations in current AI system outputs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in project management or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, coordination, and delivery practices.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
Engagement Details
- Fully remote, independent contractor role.
- Expected workload: approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility to scale up to 30+ hours.
- Project start: immediate.
- Initial project duration: approximately 3–4 weeks, with potential extension based on project needs and performance.
Compensation & Contract Terms
Hourly compensation is market-indexed, aligned with experience and local labor standards. Payments are issued weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered. This is an independent contractor engagement, subject to local laws.
