Project Manager at Nexus Consulting
Nexus Consulting is seeking experienced Project Management Specialists to support a leading AI research lab focused on advancing next-generation machine learning systems. This remote, contract-based engagement offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to apply your project management expertise to analyze, structure, and solve real-world challenges that inform cutting-edge AI research and operational workflows.
As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing AI system outputs by providing domain-specific insights and refining AI-generated project management content for clarity, accuracy, and practical relevance. Key Responsibilities
- Create structured tasks and professional deliverables based on common project management scenarios.
- Analyze project planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder coordination challenges.
- Review and refine AI-generated project management content for clarity, accuracy, and practical relevance.
- Provide domain-specific insights to help identify gaps or limitations in current AI system outputs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in project management or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, coordination, and delivery practices.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
Engagement Details
This is a fully remote, independent contractor role with an expected workload of approximately 15 hours per week, with the flexibility to scale up to 30+ hours. The initial project duration is 3–4 weeks, with potential for extension based on project needs and performance. Project start is immediate.
Compensation & Contract Terms
Hourly compensation is market-indexed, ranging from USD 90-150 per hour, aligned with role scope, experience, and applicable local labor standards. Payments are issued weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered. Engagement is on an independent contractor basis, subject to applicable local laws and regulations.
Eligibility
Applicants must be legally authorized to work as independent contractors in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Europe, Singapore, Dubai, or Australia.
