Project Manager at Nexus Consulting
One of Nexus Consulting's clients, a leading AI research lab, is actively seeking experienced Project Managers to support their advancements in next-generation machine learning systems. This hourly contract role focuses on applying project management expertise to analyze, structure, and resolve complex real-world challenges that inform AI research and operational workflows. This engagement offers significant flexibility, autonomy, and the unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI initiatives in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Create structured tasks and professional deliverables based on common project management scenarios.
- Analyze project planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder coordination challenges.
- Review and refine AI-generated project management content for clarity, accuracy, and practical relevance.
- Provide domain-specific insights to help identify gaps or limitations in current AI system outputs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in project management or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, coordination, and delivery practices.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
Engagement Details
This is a fully remote, independent contractor role with an expected workload of approximately 15 hours per week, with the potential to scale up to 30+ hours. The project is set to start immediately, with an initial duration of around 3–4 weeks, and potential for extension based on project needs and performance.
Compensation & Contract Terms
Hourly compensation is market-indexed and aligned with the role's scope, experience, and applicable local labor standards. Payments are issued weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered. This engagement is on an independent contractor basis, subject to applicable local laws and regulations.
