Product Validation Expert at Nexus Consulting
Nexus Consulting is seeking a Product Validation Expert to evaluate a widely used AI-powered consumer product. In this remote, contract role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the product delivers safe, accurate, and helpful experiences for end users. This involves designing evaluation frameworks, assessing AI-generated outputs from a user experience (UX) perspective, and providing actionable insights to enhance product quality and safety standards. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule, requiring a commitment of at least 15 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop structured rubrics to evaluate AI model outputs from a UX and safety perspective.
- Review and analyze AI-generated responses to identify potential usability risks or quality concerns.
- Execute evaluation tasks with strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to refine validation criteria and product safety standards.
- Translate user insights into clear, actionable recommendations for product and model improvement.
- Document findings in a structured, stakeholder-friendly format.
- Monitor evolving AI product usage patterns and proactively identify emerging user experience risks.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong clarity and precision.
- Experience designing or applying evaluative frameworks balancing UX, safety, and product performance.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to assess potential user risks and usability challenges objectively.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to document complex findings in a structured, actionable manner.
- Availability to commit at least 15 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with widely used AI consumer products and common user journeys.
- Experience in product quality, trust & safety, AI evaluation, UX research, or related fields.
