Job Description
ParaView Expert (Remote)
As a ParaView Expert, you will lead complete visualization workflows — from importing raw simulation or scientific datasets to producing high-quality rendered outputs. Your documented process and structured explanations will help train AI systems to understand advanced visualization techniques used across engineering, medical, and scientific domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle visualization projects in ParaView, from dataset import to final render
- Clean, preprocess, and structure complex datasets using ParaView tools
- Apply and customize advanced filters, scalar and vector field adjustments, and visualization pipelines
- Produce advanced visual outputs including volume rendering, streamlines, contour plots, surface rendering, and comparative views
- Utilize Python scripting within ParaView for automation, pipeline optimization, and data processing
- Document workflow decisions, analytical reasoning, and technical challenges for AI training purposes
- Optimize performance and troubleshoot visualization or rendering issues
- Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams and communicate best practices clearly
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Expert-level hands-on experience using ParaView in real-world scientific or engineering contexts
- Demonstrated ability to manage complete visualization workflows independently
- Strong proficiency in Python scripting within ParaView environments
- Background in engineering, medical imaging, computational science, physics research, or related technical fields
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize visualization pipelines for performance and accuracy
