OpenShot Expert (Remote)
As an OpenShot Expert at Nexus Consulting, you will be responsible for transforming raw video footage into polished, production-ready videos. A crucial part of this role involves meticulously documenting and explaining your workflow, directly contributing to the improvement of AI-powered editing systems. Your structured editing process, timeline organization, and logical decision-making will be key to this cutting-edge initiative.
This is an hourly contract position for an independent contractor, working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble complete video projects using OpenShot, from raw footage to final export.
- Demonstrate and articulate your real-time editing workflow for documentation and AI training purposes.
- Organize and manage video assets with structured timelines and logical project folder systems.
- Apply transitions, effects, titles, and audio enhancements to elevate production quality.
- Optimize export settings for various delivery formats and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and document best practices within OpenShot.
- Provide clear written updates and structured feedback throughout project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven, hands-on experience using OpenShot Video Editor in professional or freelance settings.
