As an OpenShot Expert at Nexus Consulting, you will transform raw footage into polished, production-ready videos while meticulously documenting and explaining your workflow. Your structured editing process, timeline organization, and decision-making logic will directly contribute to improving AI-powered editing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble complete video projects using OpenShot, from raw footage to final export.
• Demonstrate and articulate your real-time editing workflow for documentation and AI training purposes.
• Organize and manage video assets with structured timelines and logical project folder systems.
• Apply transitions, effects, titles, and audio enhancements to elevate production quality.
• Optimize export settings for various delivery formats and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and document best practices within OpenShot.
• Provide clear written updates and structured feedback throughout project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience using OpenShot Video Editor in professional or freelance settings.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end video editing projects.
• Proficiency in timeline management, sequencing, and asset organization within OpenShot.
• Solid understanding of post-production workflows including color correction, audio editing, and export optimization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
