Job Description
Libresprite Expert at Nexus Consulting
As a LibreSprite Expert, you will lead complete pixel art and animation projects while capturing your creative process in structured environments. You will demonstrate how expert-level artists use sprite composition, animation timing, palette control, and layered workflows to produce studio-quality assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute full pixel art and animation projects from concept through final asset export
- Demonstrate real-time animation previews, refining motion and timing to professional standards
- Utilize onion skinning, advanced layer systems, and complex sprite compositions
- Create cohesive asset sets including sprite sheets, character animations, tilesets, UI elements, and retro-style illustrations
- Leverage tiled drawing modes, palette customization, and pixel-precise tools for detailed work
- Export optimized sprites and animations in required production formats
- Clearly articulate creative decisions and technical workflow steps in both written and verbal formats
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Expert-level proficiency in LibreSprite with demonstrated production experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing pixel art, animation, and graphic design projects
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing end-to-end creative projects independently
- Deep understanding of sprite composition, animation principles, and pixel art styling
- Advanced knowledge of palette customization, tile creation, and animation frame management
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote, collaborative environment
