FrontEnd Software Engineer at Nexus Consulting
One of our clients is seeking experienced FrontEnd Software Engineers to support high-impact research collaborations with leading AI labs. This is a unique opportunity to apply your front-end engineering expertise to shape the next generation of intelligent systems by building high-quality training datasets that improve AI model performance on real-world client-side web development tasks.
About the Project
You will be instrumental in creating high-quality “vibe coding” datasets specifically designed to train AI models on critical client-side web development skills. This includes areas such as state management, interactivity, UI correctness, and robustness.
Projects may involve:
- Interactive web applications
- Browser-based games
- Visualizations and simulations
- Front-end tools and utilities
Key Responsibilities
- Write realistic, self-contained prompts for client-side web apps, games, and simulations.
- Develop precise, binary rubrics tagged by verification type.
- Ensure rubric criteria are strictly pass/fail and verifiable via screenshot and code inspection.
- Design tasks that thoroughly test UI behavior, logic correctness, and edge-case handling.
Ideal Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in front-end or full-stack development (or technical content creation in web development).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (an advanced degree is preferred).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or vanilla JavaScript.
- Ability to write clear technical specifications and structured evaluation criteria.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on verifiability and precision.
Project Details
- Start Date: Immediate
- Duration: 1–2 months
- Commitment: Part-time (15–25 hours/week, with flexibility up to 40 hours/week)
- Work Arrangement: Fully remote and asynchronous
