About the Financial Advisors Role at Nexus Consulting
Nexus Consulting is seeking experienced Financial Advisors to join a cutting-edge AI research initiative. This fully remote, contract-based engagement focuses on enhancing AI systems for financial reasoning and decision-making. As a Financial Advisor, you will leverage your domain expertise to diagnose real-world financial scenarios, create structured tasks, and refine how AI interprets and responds to common financial advisory requests.

Key Responsibilities
- Create realistic tasks and deliverables based on common client-facing financial advisory scenarios.
- Develop structured examples that reflect real-world financial planning challenges.
- Review and refine financial outputs for clarity, accuracy, and practical relevance.
- Provide written explanations and reasoning to support financial recommendations.
Ideal Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience as a Personal Financial Advisor or in a related financial planning role.
- Strong knowledge of personal finance topics such as retirement planning, tax optimization, investment strategies, estate planning, and risk management.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and clarity.
- Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a structured and accessible way.
- Experience working independently and meeting deadlines in a remote environment.
Engagement Details
- Expected workload: ~15 hours per week, with flexibility to scale up to 30+ hours depending on project needs.
- Project duration: Approximately 3–4 weeks, with potential for extension.
- Start date: Immediate.
- Engagement type: Independent contractor.
- Location: Fully remote, flexible schedule. Candidates based in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Europe, Singapore, Dubai, or Australia who are legally able to work as independent contractors in their jurisdiction are encouraged to apply.
