About the Role

Nexus Consulting is seeking experienced Financial Advisors to contribute their domain expertise to an AI research initiative. This project focuses on enhancing financial reasoning and decision-making systems. This is a unique opportunity to apply your professional knowledge in a flexible, fully remote setting, diagnosing real-world financial scenarios and helping refine how AI systems interpret and respond to complex financial advisory requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Create realistic tasks and deliverables based on common client-facing financial advisory scenarios.
• Develop structured examples that reflect real-world financial planning challenges.
• Review and refine financial outputs for clarity, accuracy, and practical relevance.
• Provide written explanations and reasoning to support financial recommendations.

Ideal Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Financial Advisor or in a related financial planning role.
• Strong knowledge of personal finance topics such as retirement planning, tax optimization, investment strategies, estate planning, and risk management.
• Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and clarity.
• Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a structured and accessible way.
• Experience working independently and meeting deadlines in a remote environment.

Engagement Details

• Expected workload: ~15 hours per week, with flexibility to scale up to 30+ hours depending on project needs.
• Project duration: Approximately 3–4 weeks, with potential for extension.
• Start date: Immediate.
• Engagement type: Independent contractor.
• Location: Fully remote, flexible schedule within the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Europe, Singapore, Dubai, or Australia.
