About the Role: Financial Advisor
Nexus Consulting is seeking experienced Financial Advisors to contribute their domain expertise to an innovative AI research initiative. This project aims to enhance financial reasoning and decision-making systems by having you diagnose real-world financial scenarios, create structured tasks, and refine how AI systems interpret and respond to common financial advisory requests. This is a unique opportunity to apply your professional knowledge in a flexible, fully remote independent contractor setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Create realistic tasks and deliverables based on common client-facing financial advisory scenarios.
- Develop structured examples that accurately reflect real-world financial planning challenges.
- Review and refine financial outputs generated by AI systems for clarity, accuracy, and practical relevance.
- Provide comprehensive written explanations and detailed reasoning to support financial recommendations.
Ideal Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience as a Personal Financial Advisor or in a closely related financial planning role.
- Strong knowledge across various personal finance topics, including retirement planning, tax optimization, investment strategies, estate planning, and risk management.
- Excellent written communication skills, demonstrating strong grammar and clarity in all outputs.
- Proven ability to explain complex financial concepts in a structured, accessible, and understandable manner.
- Demonstrated experience working independently, managing your own schedule, and consistently meeting deadlines in a remote work environment.
Engagement Details
This engagement is offered as an independent contractor role with an expected workload of approximately 15 hours per week, with the potential to scale up to 30+ hours based on project needs. The initial project duration is about 3–4 weeks, with good potential for extensions. We are looking for candidates to start immediately. This is a fully remote position with a flexible schedule, open to candidates based in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Europe, Singapore, Dubai, or Australia who are legally able to work as independent contractors in their respective jurisdictions.
