English Language Instructor (Remote)

Nexus Consulting is seeking an experienced English Instructor to join a dynamic remote teaching team. In this role, you will deliver engaging online writing and communication courses to a diverse group of learners. Your expertise in virtual instruction, lesson planning, and providing constructive feedback will empower students to become confident communicators.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach online writing and communication courses using interactive methodologies that promote active participation and engagement.
• Develop comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and handouts aligned with course objectives.
• Evaluate and grade student work, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Facilitate classroom discussions that encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and student engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and grades.
• Provide individualized support to meet diverse learning needs and enhance student outcomes.
• Stay current with best practices in online instruction and integrate relevant digital tools to improve the learning experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Communications, or a related field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and clarity.
• Proven experience teaching writing or communication courses, ideally in an online or hybrid environment.
• Proficiency in designing engaging course content and leveraging digital learning platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple classes efficiently.
• Ability to foster a supportive, inclusive, and motivating virtual classroom environment.
• Commitment to student success and ongoing professional growth.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in English, Education, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience teaching multicultural or international student populations.
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and online assessment tools.

Engagement Details

• Fully remote and flexible scheduling.
