Nexus Consulting is facilitating paid research interviews for one of our clients, targeting highly skilled technical and analytical professionals. This unique opportunity supports advanced market and technology research, aiming to deeply understand how technical experts make financial, career, and technology-related decisions. This is a flexible, short-term contract, ideal for experienced professionals to share their valuable insights through confidential, one-on-one conversations.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in scheduled 30–60 minute research interviews.
• Share insights on your professional background, decision-making processes, and technology usage.
• Discuss financial behavior, investment tools, and workflow preferences.
• Provide honest and detailed feedback to support comprehensive research and analysis.
• Adhere to all confidentiality and participation guidelines diligently.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Demonstrated background in a technical or analytical field, including:
  • Software engineering, data science, or product and design.
  • Engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, chemical, aerospace, etc.).
  • Finance or quantitative roles (investment banking, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, trading, FP&A).
  • Scientific or research-based professions.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or STEM-related field is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate professional insights effectively.
• Currently residing in one of the following major U.S. metropolitan areas: Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas–Fort Worth, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, or Washington, DC.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active investment or brokerage accounts with platforms such as Vanguard, Fidelity, Charles Schwab, Robinhood, E*Trade, Interactive Brokers, SoFi, Betterment, TD Ameritrade, or Wealthfront.

Work Details & Contract Terms

• Fully remote engagement with flexible scheduling.
• Opportunities for one-time or repeat sessions based on project needs.
• Each session typically lasts approximately 30–60 minutes.
• Independent contractor engagement, paid weekly via Stripe or Wise.
• No sales, marketing, or follow-up communications required after participation.
• No access to confidential or proprietary employer data is necessary.
