Nexus Consulting's client is actively seeking an experienced Computer & Information Systems Manager to spearhead technology strategy, infrastructure, and systems operations within a dynamic, distributed environment. This pivotal role seamlessly blends strategic leadership with direct oversight of IT governance, robust security protocols, and optimal system performance.

In this position, you will be instrumental in aligning information systems with core business objectives, significantly strengthening the cybersecurity posture, and guaranteeing reliable, scalable technology operations across the board. You will lead impactful cross-functional initiatives, expertly manage IT risk, and guide dedicated teams through intricate system implementations and continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee end-to-end IT infrastructure and information systems aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead and mentor IT teams, fostering accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
• Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity best practices, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and enforce comprehensive IT governance frameworks, policies, and sophisticated risk management processes.
• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to translate critical operational needs into actionable technical strategies and detailed project plans.
• Oversee the software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards.
• Evaluate and recommend cutting-edge emerging technologies, platforms, and vendors to drive innovation.
• Manage multiple complex projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and transparent, effective communication.
• Develop robust disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to safeguard operations.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and information systems in mid-to-large-scale environments.
• Strong knowledge of leading cybersecurity frameworks, governance, and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with cross-functional or globally distributed teams.
• Solid background in project management methodologies and strategic IT planning.
• Expertise in risk management and comprehensive systems security.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills crucial for a remote, global role.
• Strong analytical and advanced problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CISSP, ITIL, or equivalent demonstrate expertise.
