Senior System Analyst

The Senior System Analyst at Nextgen Clearing is an operations support system (OSS) specialist working under the Operations Manager. In this role, you will perform various duties ensuring smooth business operations including delegating tasks, communicating information, troubleshooting operational problems, and training new starters.

Competency Profile

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• 3-5 years of experience in Engineering, Telecommunications, or IT
• Understanding of UNIX, FTP/SFTP
• Strong problem-solving ability and decision making
• Excellent organizational and follow up skills
• Understanding of technical standards (e.g., TD.57) and IT procedures
• Experience with trouble ticketing systems

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve operational problems within schedules and SLAs
• Analyze root causes and provide resolutions
• Handle escalated issues and follow-up promptly
• Develop preventive measures and document procedures
• Manage job calendars, flows, and system monitoring
• Maintain operational logs and assist in UAT testing
• Coordinate configuration updates for DCH and related systems
• Support customer issue resolution and quality control

Additional Duties

The role also includes managing IOT load files, handling mediation rejections, TAPOUT processing, NRTRDE monitoring, MVNO configuration, password resets, and process documentation. Participation in business meetings and ongoing communication with stakeholders is critical.
