About the Role:

At Next Plc, we build our own systems ranging from websites to mobile apps and applications. You will join a rapidly expanding Business Intelligence Systems (BIS) team that partners with Finance, Product, Warehouse, Marketing, and Brand teams to design and build the data solutions that drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support BI solutions for Next Finance.
  • Use modern hybrid cloud platforms and traditional SQL systems.
  • Implement and enhance solutions with technologies like Azure, Databricks, Power BI, and ADF.
  • Collaborate with 50+ developers, analysts, and product managers.
  • Modernize legacy systems while integrating new data tools.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Experience with DataBricks or similar platforms and Azure Data Factory.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Work with Azure Data Lake and SQL Server RDBMS.
  • ETL experience using SQL Server Integration Services and ADF.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of PySQL, C#, or R.
  • Experience with PowerBI, SQL Server SSAS Tabular, and dimensional modelling.
  • Familiarity with development management using Azure DevOps.
  • Exposure to AI/ML and event based integrations (API, Event Hub, Kafka).
