What is the Admin Assistant to CEO role?

We're searching for an experienced Admin Assistant to CEO to execute on day-to-day activities, administrative tasks (such as inbox and calendar management), and special projects for Ansh.

This position touches every corner of Ansh's life and business, meaning the right person will have a passion for supporting Ansh and putting the infrastructure in place to bring his big vision into reality. It's a significant role, requiring someone who can ramp up quickly with new information and learning. Therefore, we're looking for someone with deep career ambitions as an assistant to Ansh, truly believing in the value of this role as their calling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Ansh's inbox and calendar
  • Acting as the liaison between the CEO and his team
  • Owning the logistics of important business (and sometimes personal) purchases
  • Picking out gifts for Ansh's wife
  • Being the point person for employees, clients, and accountants
  • Coordinating travel arrangements

Over time, the goal is for you to become an extension of Ansh by anticipating his needs, seeing around the corner, and remembering things before he does. Because of this, the ability to build trust quickly is critical. We desire a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, discretion, and judgment in both written and verbal communication.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years of experience supporting a CEO or executive. This is essential for pattern matching previous experiences and understanding the inherent daily shifting tasks and priorities in executive support.
  • Ability to hold your own, make decisive decisions, and accept very direct feedback.
  • Rock-solid communication skills, presenting information clearly and error-free, both written and verbally.
  • Highly adaptable and flexible, as this role is ever-changing with new projects.
  • A strong appetite and experience in design and development literacy is desired, as you'll contribute to related projects.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines, maintaining a rigorous eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Takes great pride in outcomes, whether it's booking the right dinner reservation or facilitating a business acquisition signing.
