In this role, you will support the Central Billing Office, working closely with billing supervisors and specialists, practice managers and others to ensure optimal revenue cycle efficiency and patient satisfaction. This position plays a key role in the efficient and effective financial operations of the hospital and helps make a life-changing difference. - Working knowledge of EPIC
- Three (3) years of experience in revenue cycle operations.
Required Criteria
- High School Diploma or GED
- Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written
- Knowledge of insurance websites (verifying eligibility, benefits, claim status, process corrected claims, appeals online when applicable).
- Working knowledge of revenue cycle process; Patient registration, billing, denial tracking/resolution, accounts receivable, local/state/federal regulations, medical terminology, and payer contract familiarity.
- Computer and systems competency in the following areas: working knowledge of health systems and interfaces, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and electronic health records.
