Administrative Assistant at New York Power Authority
The Administrative Assistant provides efficient and cost-effective office support operations across the New York Power Authority (NYPA) enterprise. This role ensures that NYPA's information assets are protected, accessible, and aligned with business needs, supporting the overall administrative functions of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing expense reports, and arranging travel.
- Coordinates the creation of presentations and gathers necessary materials for various scheduled meetings.
- Facilitates activities and communication between different departments and external parties.
- Engages with personnel across all organizational levels to collect information and compile reports.
- Handles tasks that are often critical or confidential in nature.
- Assists with moderately complex and varied administrative duties, ensuring smooth departmental operations.
- Collects and formats data for the creation and preparation of professional presentations and reports.

- Aids in coordinating projects and initiatives throughout the business unit, tracking timelines, scheduling, and preparing project reports under manager guidance.

- Organizes and plans the logistics and agendas for department or Business Unit meetings.
