Overview

New York Life Insurance Company, a Fortune 100 leader with 180 years of legacy, is seeking a dynamic Senior Vice President, Head of Enterprise Strategy to spearhead the development, alignment, and execution of the company’s long-term strategic agenda. You will work closely with executive leadership to shape growth initiatives, manage major investments, and drive cross-functional strategic projects.

Position Overview

The role reports to the Head of Corporate Development & Strategy and oversees enterprise-wide strategy functions including strategic planning, internal consulting, and project leadership for 15-20 team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous refinement of enterprise strategy in alignment with the CEO and senior leadership.
  • Develop robust business strategies and integrate standalone business plans into core strategy.
  • Provide executive advisory and develop C-suite presentations and board materials.
  • Oversee implementation of cross-functional strategic initiatives and manage portfolio reviews.
  • Manage and mentor a diverse, high performing team.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Economics, Finance (MBA preferred)
  • 15+ years in corporate strategy, consulting, or strategic planning roles
  • Proven track record in enterprise strategy development and execution
  • Strong communication skills with executive presence
  • Financial services experience preferred, insurance expertise a plus

Additional Information

This is a hybrid role based in New York, requiring 3 days per week on-site. Compensation includes a base salary between $300,000 and $350,000, eligibility for annual discretionary bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
