Job Description
Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients and/or account managers about briefs, deliverables, deadlines, and revisions
- Lead video editing projects from start to final delivery
- Assign tasks to other editors and manage workload/priorities
- Review and quality-check other editors’ outputs (pacing, audio, graphics, specs, brand style)
- Edit both long-form and short-form videos personally when needed
- Create or enhance motion graphics (titles, captions, lower thirds, transitions)
- Keep projects organized (folders, naming, version control) and ensure smooth handoffs
- Track revisions and make sure all feedback is applied correctly before final export
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior/Lead Video Editor (or similar role)
- Strong skills in long-form editing (YouTube, interviews, podcasts, webinars) and short-form editing (Reels/TikTok/Shorts)
- Knowledgeable in motion graphics and video storytelling
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (must-have)
- Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
- Able to lead a team, give clear feedback, and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills (client-facing and internal coordination)
- Familiar with collaboration/review tools (e.g., Frame.io, Google Drive/Dropbox, ClickUp/Trello) is a plus
